Search engine optimisation (SEO) is a process. That means that there are lots of small details that you need to pay attention to. Some of those details may seem small or insignificant or even petty. But you need to remember that you’re dealing with computers and they can be exceptionally fussy when it comes to this kind of thing. Follow these stupidly simple SEO principles and you’ll be ahead of most of your competition, whether you’re using pay per click or old-fashioned organic SEO.

It includes tours, album sales, big shows, festivals and radio play (internet, college, FM). Bullet points should be used. Don’t lie about your information. Also, laminate the fact sheet to make it stand out.

The first step is to open a Google AdWords account by going to Google and either signing in to your current account or creating a new account. In your AdWords account click on Reporting and Tools. A drop down menu comes up and you then click on Keyword Tool. In the middle of the page you will see: “Specify a website, word or phrase, or category to get started.” In the box above this message where it says – Website- type in the address of a competitor with similar products to you. Click search. AdWords will then generate up to 800 keywords in connection with your topic.
This is an interesting one because I hear all the time that you should be optimizing for long tail keywords. There are both ups and downs to this one. The up is that long tail keywords are very specific and so your leads have the potential of being very well qualified. However, long tail keywords don’t get a lot of traffic and so typically aren’t worth a lot. Short tail keywords are popular and generate ROI for a reason. Yes it may take longer to get the ranking you want but it is well worth it. In short no it is not better to go about optimizing for long tail keywords.
