Seo Help – Proper Keyword Selection

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is a process. That means that there are lots of small details that you need to pay attention to. Some of those details may seem small or insignificant or even petty. But you need to remember that you’re dealing with computers and they can be exceptionally fussy when it comes to this kind of thing. Follow these stupidly simple SEO principles and you’ll be ahead of most of your competition, whether you’re using pay per click or old-fashioned organic SEO.

Teaching your team members how to successfully build their own networks and treating them like people with individual needs, instead of treating them like numbers on a spreadsheet is key to success in Network Marketing. If you are unfriendly or aloof, some of the more sensitive people will remain dormant or leave entirely.

On your day planner, flip forward 7 days and write this note on your to do list: SHUT OFF PAY PER CLICK ACCOUNT. The amount of money you could save is massive.

You can also help yourself by doing the occasional bolding, or putting in italics, of your various keywords – but not on every single page. This really is a pretty valuable little tip for on-page SEO. It’s impossible to say how much, but the search engine algorithms will add some degree of weight to your keywords when you do that. With SEO, doing more can often, and usually does, hurt you so don’t over-do this. Maybe two to three times, roughly, and that will be enough to add a few more points in your favor. With your H1 and H2 tags, be sure you use your primary/secondary keywords in them. As you can guess, these words treated in such a manner will add more SEO weight to them. Always keep in mind that each page should be optimized for a primary keyword plus some secondaries.

Fact Sheet – This is a new addition to the modern press kits. The fact sheet gives the reader a quick reference to your bands accomplishments. It includes tours, album sales, big shows, festivals and radio play (internet, college, FM). Bullet points should be used. Don’t lie about your information. Also, laminate the fact sheet to make it stand out.

Why do lead generation systems work so well in this market? Freely given information is one key to a good agent/client relationship. Your prospects get the information they desire and you have lowered their resistance.

The first step is to open a Google AdWords account by going to Google and either signing in to your current account or creating a new account. In your AdWords account click on Reporting and Tools. A drop down menu comes up and you then click on Keyword Tool. In the middle of the page you will see: “Specify a website, word or phrase, or category to get started.” In the box above this message where it says – Website- type in the address of a competitor with similar products to you. Click search. AdWords will then generate up to 800 keywords in connection with your topic.

This is an interesting one because I hear all the time that you should be optimizing for long tail keywords. There are both ups and downs to this one. The up is that long tail keywords are very specific and so your leads have the potential of being very well qualified. However, long tail keywords don’t get a lot of traffic and so typically aren’t worth a lot. Short tail keywords are popular and generate ROI for a reason. Yes it may take longer to get the ranking you want but it is well worth it. In short no it is not better to go about optimizing for long tail keywords.
